Our Training Methods

Training That Gets Results

At Workhorse Academy, we take a holistic approach to help athletes become the best versions of  themselves both on and off the court.

Our training builds fundamental skills, elite conditioning, and the mental toughness needed to succeed.

  • Custom Programs

We don't believe in a one-size-fits-all method – that's why we regularly assess each athlete and tailor their training plan based on their unique strengths, areas for improvement, and goals.

e.g., "Ryan Carter", "Austin Edwards" and "Bilal Benn"

  • Complete Skill Development

Our programs build key skills like shooting, dribbling, footwork, athleticism, court vision, confidence, and mental focus. This allows us to create well-rounded players ready to positively impact their team.

  • Efficient Use of Time

Sessions maximize results by drilling essential techniques. We reinforce proper mechanics to help players avoid picking up bad habits and make the most of every minute on the court.

  • Game-Like Drills

Our drills mimic competitive game situations to ingrain skills. Cutting, screening, defending, boxing out - athletes master in-game execution through intense, repetitive reps.

  • Engaging & Fun

Last but not least, we incorporate energetic drills and competitions into our training to keep players focused and motivated, helping them improve and enjoy the process at the same time.

With experience-based training focused on efficient development and engagement, we build confident, skilled, and resilient athletes ready to deliver when it counts.

e.g., "Jaden Flournoy", Rosemont College MBB
